A Little About Me
I have spent nearly 30 years in the hospitality and meetings industries as a meeting planner, an association executive, a convention and visitors bureau representative, a hotel catering sales manager, a lawyer, and a professor. My greatest passion is tackling the tough issues in a practical (and often humorous) way that makes them manageable for everyday business.
I am, at heart, an educator. I used to have an active law practice representing meeting and event professionals but found that I have more of a heart for explaining the law than for actually practicing it, so I honor that by teaching hospitality and business law and crisis management at the College of Coastal Georgia and speaking and training industry groups. For more about me, see Who I Am.
